Opossum
Virginia Opossum info
The opossum is North Americas only Marsupial! This means that they hold their babies in a pouch like a kangaroo. Momma 'possums can give birth to 20 babies, but the average is 7 per litter. They are nocturnal, but can be seen out during the day. Opossums are true omnivores and will eat just about anything.
